The book Night is written by Eliezer Wiesel. Wiesel was born on September 30, 1928 in Romania. On May 16, 1944, he and his family were deported out of the country to the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz - Birkenau. Wiesel survived the attrocities of the camp and is now a writer, professor, and political activist. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1986. This short book of about 120 pages tells about his experiences at Auschwitz - Birkenau. The book was one I had to read for my English class actually, but I found it to be an amazing and powerful book nontheless. If you like reading about history, the holocaust, and some of the horrendous crimes humans have commited, I strongly recomend this book.

I hope you enjoy it Smile
